i’ve violated one of the most basic of my living principles that i shall never be the cause of hurt or a loss to somebody other than myself.
There’s this intra-hostel hockey happening and then there’s this guy who wanted to play for our wing team and has been waiting since yesterday. Finally, i take his place in the team. that must’ve hurt. I know such things do. and if its any consolation to him, i failed my part in the game.
and then i came to know today that i was responsible for someone crying hundreds of miles away from where I am.
and then i hurt one more person over a trivial issue of a font on the messenger window. And my fight for free will makes someone say “it hurts!!!….sandeep it hurts!!!!” So it does!!!
If its any consolation to these three people, i find myself feeling bad at having done the things i did. Not exactly that i had any huge say in the way things went, but still it was I who was responsible.
Got a look at this list of 100 best novels . Quietly happy that the first two places on the reader’s list are occupied by Ayn Rand and four out of the top ten. Its pretty strange that Ayn Rand, in all her glory doesnt find a place in the top 100 list of the board. guess there are people on the board who are averse to objectivism.
